Tin Man: Pirates of the Nonestic Chapters Thirty-Nine and Forty

We are nearly too the end of this way-too-long experiment. Yes, this is my assurances that I won't post a story to the Library in weekly segments ever again. And new fun, my Google account was disabled today. Why? I'm still waiting for an answer or at least a way to prove I'm me and get it back.

Back to the story stuff. Why Betsy and Jenkins know so much about the Other Side is answered in Chapter Thirty-Nine. We learn why the Royal Army of the O.Z. crossed the desert in Chapter Forty.
