Why a newsletter
Trying to find the easiest way to foster communications hasn’t been easy. I’m guilty for my part. I had hoped the Yahoo Groups would become a hub for chats and an easy way to keep readers updated and instead it turned into one more thing to update. I still want to reward people who actually want to read my stuff and make an effort to tell me about that want, so we’re going to try a newsletter.
The theory behind using a newsletter: I can upload finished story content to the BookWorm’s Library and then send out the newsletter to the ones who have requested to get one. Then modify the story format and post to FF.net and/or Alt. Biker Mice Site, before making a big update to the public Library pages. Everybody wins.
Second big change is a forum for comments on the stories and other topics. I haven’t been happy with the guestbook set up for a long time, and I have seen linking to a forum discussion thread work on other sites. I'm crossing fingers that it works here as well.
This is a pretty lame update newsletter. The next one you receive will include an update on the fanfiction, because I have been busy while I have been silent.
